Disney Lorcana: Wilds Unknown

Wilds Unknown is the 12th main set of the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, released on May 15, 2026 after prerelease events beginning May 8. It centers on exploration, survival, and teamwork as Illumineers and their glimmers become stranded in dangerous, unfamiliar parts of the realm.

Story and setting

Following the events of Winterspell, the characters are scattered across three wild regions:

• Wilderknot — a dense, dangerous jungle filled with overgrown trees, ruins, quicksand, and hidden hazards.

• Torchlight Peaks — a mountainous region featuring sheer cliffs, lava flows, caves, and other extreme terrain.

• The Great Empty Sea — a former ocean that has become a vast desert, complete with canyons and a giant Leviathan roaming the landscape.

The central message of the set is “Stick Together.” The characters have to cooperate and find their way home, giving the set a strong adventure and survival theme.

Disney and Pixar characters

Wilds Unknown is particularly significant because it introduces several major Pixar properties to Lorcana:

• Toy Story — Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and other toys become glimmers navigating the dangerous wilderness.

• The Incredibles — the Parr family, including Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack, join the game.

• Brave — Merida and members of her family make their Lorcana debut.

The set also contains characters from existing Disney properties, creating a broad mix of adventurers, explorers, heroes, and companions.
